Of these stunning parents! I just couldn’t resist sharing a couple more. This two just oozed love for their little darling, and I think thats completely evident in these. I have to secretly (or not so secretly!) admit that these would have to be some of my favorite newborn & mummy pictures I’ve taken to date.

In August I had the absolute pleasure of meeting Shehana and photographing her for a maternity session and I was so pleased to be able to photograph her new addition to the family as well! This little guy (well, not really, he was actually quite a big little baby!!) made his appearance earlier then expected, but was courteous enough to wait until the day after his Dad was able to make it to Brisbane. This wonderful family made me feel so welcome in their home, and Shehana’s lovely mum even cooked me a fantastic lunch!
Nathaniel was a photographers dream, I think he’d have to be one of the easiest babies I’ve ever worked with (and funnily enough, so was baby Mya, his second cousin who I photographed back in April!), and once again Shehana was a wonderful model, as was her lovely husband. Thanks Shehana, I hope Nathaniel stays as wonderfully easy going like he was this week!

… For me to cut those beautiful locks : ( … I’ve been procrastinating this day for ohhh, 3 years now?? This week I think it’s finally time that we take the plunge and cut her hair. Her poor hair certainly needs it. I decided I needed to take her down the back to our favorite spot to snap some more photos before the end of the week.. I *was* trying to get some shots of her hair, but someone wasn’t in the most co-operative mood!
If anyone see’s me the week after next with a child with hair still past her butt, give me a piece of your mind!

I generally don’t actively ask her to pose for me, but this is definitely her trademark pose if I ask her to, this ones all her!
She love spinning around in her dresses, she was mighty dizzy after these though!
