Fun At The Beach!

It’s been a while since we’ve been out as a family, so today we went down the Gold Coast with our friends. We planned on a nice relaxing afternoon on the beach, followed by a mini photo shoot at sunset.. The weather was terrible! The rain that was forecast didn’t arrive, instead we were caught in what I would describe as a miniature sandstorm on the beach! The wind was blowing so fiercely that the sand was stinging our legs. I didn’t get to try out the ideas I had in mind, but the kids had a blast so all was not lost!

Here’s a couple from the afternoon.. I’ve had a bit of fun and processed these all a bit differently then I usually would.

Gosh, after being so busy I’ve neglected my poor new blog so I’d better skip right to the point!

Meet the beautiful Genevieve. This little darling was just 8 days old, and very awake! She certainly made her mum and I work very hard to keep her asleep. Isn’t she just gorgeous?

Starting Fresh!

Well after many weeks of tears and tantrums, here I am with my new website and blog up and running. It’s about time really! I must say I’m pleased with myself. I’ve put a lot of effort into bringing this all together over the last few weeks, but I really couldn’t have done it without the help from my lovely friends and fellow forum goers. Things still aren’t perfect and I have a lot of tweaking to do, but it’s getting there..

Anyhow I’ll keep this post short, but I couldn’t test out the new blog without posting its very first photo, so heres a quick snapshot of my daughter with 3 of her best friends.. I just love the concentration on their 4 little faces!
